I understand that you need to learn a lot about music before you can play blues or jazz song. we nee great understanding and knowledge and also skill to play our instruments to play jazz songs. I didn't do well on my assessment because i wasn't prepared enough.

I understand quite well about improvisation in blues or jazz. I can improvise my song if want according to the chord given and also adding up some blues notes. Blues have their unique point in jazz and it was good to listen to.

i watch my friend rehearse and collaborate with others. They do well on those collaborations. I did my song a little too, but i definitely need some improvement and a lot of practice.

I practice my 12 bars blues song this week in my instrument class. I also get a new chord from my teacher to learn. We also did our usual routine in the class. I still need to improve a lot on playing my saxophone

I did practice my 12 bars blues at home for a little time. It was for me for the first time i played the song. The tempo is quite fast and the beat is up and down, so i kind of confuse on how to play it. I need to practice harder so, i can play the song.

This week i was absent for one day so i miss some lessons this week. I learn how to put the right note in 12 bars blues when i was present in the first class of this week. This things take all of our time, so i only learned that this week.

We do our usual routine also this week in instrument class. For addition of this week. We've been introduced the blues chord and learned how to play it in instrument class.

I learn about blues chord in my practical class before so, i know quite well about blues. The notes are quite up and down beats to fit in my 12-bars blues song. I did know how the sound of blues, so i know few things on how to make the 12-bars blues.

i learn more deeply about jazz after i do the jazz essay and jazz song that i heard. I learn what improvisation really means and where and how did it comes through out the assessment that i done in the music class.

This week i have to submit my essay of jazz, but i submit it one day late because of the size of the paper. We learn more about jazz this week and from the essay. Some of us being mentored to play jazz by the teacher. We also been give 2 song and pick one song to sing for next week. Then we have to write 700 words of essay about jazz too.

This week we've been given a jazz song and we've been asked to sing the song together with one whole class. Our teachers also present us a jazz song that they play together. They give us the knowledge of improvisation in jazz. The performance was great and I learn a lot from them. We've been mentored on how to play jazz after that. Then i have to work on essay about the beginning of jazz.

This week we just learn about jazz. The history of jazz and the beginning of jazz. We did a group work that our teacher assign us to do it, so we can learn more about jazz. I find the jazz is quite interesting topic and fine topic..
